Skramz in Australia (BSDJ 110)
This is a snapshot of the Australian screamo scene in 2024.

Every country has their awesome local bands. But they can be hard to find or hear about when you aren't local. This series of comps is meant to bring light to some of the big, and little screamers in these localities. I hope it will open up a lil rabbit hole for you to dive into. Get involved in Australian Skramz!

This comp has 18 tracks from 18 artists and goes for about an hour. It has some long-time legends who are already known around the world, and some artists who are just getting started. But every track bangs and ur gonna find a new favourite artist in here.

Thanks so much to every band who agreed to be a part of the comp. It was a real pleasure puttin this comp together. Thanks especially to isaac of hanoi traffic and salt money, and to blind girls for giving me band reccs and guidance.

This comp is being released on streaming, bandcamp, and physicals. The streaming version has 2 tracks removed (demos), so the bandcamp and physical version are technically the fullest versions.

Have a listen through the comp. Find a new band. Put on a holovid of some australian flaura and fauna, and chill out... or rage... or whatever you want. With a soundtrack this good you can't go wrong.

And of course; if you enjoy any of the tracks please support the artists directly by listening to more of their work, buying some merch, or whatever you can do.
